Why did you purchase your Bevinco franchise?
I have worked in fine wine sales as an independent contractor for 8 years and found the entrepreneurial spirit very appealing. Bevinco is an excellent service that offers tremendous value to a dynamic industry. Since my husband has just retired, this is a business that we can grow together while preparing for upcoming college tuition bills!
Brief Description of Yourself:
Graduate of Athens State University in Business Administration, Athens, AL. Spent 17 years in the mortgage banking Business. My career began as a retail loan officer for a small brokerage, then a large bank, before opening my own online mortgage company. After growing that business into a seven figure annual revenue producing company I moved into the wholesale side and became an Account Executive with the world’s largest bank, CitiBank. After only a couple of years with Citi, my position was eliminated due to economical crisis. I still live in Florida with my two grown daughters and newly minted Fiancé and her two young boys.
Why did you purchase your Bevinco franchise?
I purchased a Bevinco franchise after looking for quite some time at a number of opportunities. Initially it peeked my interest because I felt it was well suited to my background and economically viable, both from an upfront cost standpoint and potential revenue producing stand point. Of course the other reason I was interested in a Bevinco franchise is that regardless of market climate, it is economically viable, people will drink in good times and bad, bar owners will need to protect their profit in both high times and lag.
Any other comments?

In having also acquired some sales, marketing and hospitality industry training in my recent past, I felt uniquely positioned in life to leverage this experience with my IT and travel industries background into the acquisition of the Central America Master Licence of Bevinco. Simply put, I believe that Bevinco soothes a generalized Revenue Management ‘pain’ that is common to most businesses in the Hospitality Industry. Sadly, most bar owners don’t know they have this ‘open wound’, so to speak, or how much blood they are losing from it every month. And this is simply because beverage sales are such good business, especially in tourist destinations like Central America. You leave that to us though! We have our consultant hats on and we are going in…
